Come Back to Yourself

Lately I’ve been scattered. There has been so much heartbreak echoing through the world. Emotions are high, and the personal events in my life have left me spiraling into panic.

Life is always moving. If you aren’t flowing with the motions of change, you’ll be stuck in your own asylum of suffering. Dramatic? Yeah. But that’s how intense it can be.

Cultivating a beautiful life—the one you know you’re destined to experience—can feel so far away when you’re overwhelmed. That’s why I’m encouraging you to come back to yourself.

Right now, I have a cup of tea in my hands and hope in my heart. I stare out the window as my thoughts banter in my head, trying to piece together the puzzle of my dreams. A moment of stillness is all I need. The warmth of the freshly brewed leaves radiates into my palms, and I soften—finally feeling instead of thinking. Present. Unarmored. Peaceful. This is where I need to be.

These are the moments that take you into the space where all your dreams live. Yet you rarely have them, because there’s always a to-do list, endless content to absorb, worries to harp on, and problems your brain is itching to solve. And pressing down on it all is the weight of uncertainty.

You try to hold everything together as if you are glue. But really, you are silk—delicate, fluid, weaving the unique tapestry of your life. And as harmonious as that sounds, you won’t always know the way or have the answers. The challenge is to let go of the need to figure it all out.

You have to listen and trust more than you resist and control.

Fear will shake you. Limiting beliefs will whisper reasons why you shouldn’t or can’t. Self-doubt will try to cripple your confidence.

But there is a rhythm in faith, and your breath will guide you into its beat—right at the center of your heart.

Micromanaging is not how you’re going to design the vision you have for your life; surrendering into these moments of pure feeling and being will.

This space of feeling is where you can channel your truth—your soul, your authentic self, the you without layers and pressure from the outside world. Your dreams pour from here. And you’ll receive the insight you need to walk into them step by step.

The more you return to yourself, the more you’ll learn to stay open through adversity.

Practicing stillness ends the internal conflict between what you desire and what you don’t believe you can have. It eases anxiety about your goals, shines a light of inspiration, and—at the very least—relieves stress so you can gain clarity on how to show up fully next.

You have the power to reach the stars that call you. Your life can sparkle. Just keep coming back to yourself—over and over, in each breath and heartbeat. Every moment is an opportunity for stillness, and in stillness, you feel your full potential.
